Fundamental principles for spiritual Growth.

1:Learn to forget the past.Phillippian3:13-14.

Forget those things that behinds

Forget even the blessing s of God that are behind,because if you live on past blessing s,you are living on stale manna.
If you are satisfied with what happened in the past ,you are not reaching toward the future blessings God has in store for you.

You must learn to forget your past  mistake,failure and sin.

I pray, the grace not to remember your past again,God will give you in Jesus name.

 2: learn to Forgive :

Ephesians4:32,Mattew18:21-22 .

You must forgive all the people that offend you.

3: Learn to Pray: A successful prayer life must be built upon the word of God

John15:7"If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Note: You will only receive answers to your prayers when your prayer life is built on the word of God.

John16:23-24"And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.

 24  Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

4:Learn to believe God and his word

Mark11:24"Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

John20:29"Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

If you want to grow spiritually, you must learn out to believe the word of God.

5: Learn to worship

John4:23"But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

6: Learn to give

You should give to the Lord because you love him.

Luku6:38"Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Note: You motive behind your  giving is very important.

You can do right things with the wrong motive and it won't work.

If  we will keep our motives pure and give according to the word and the holy spirit's leading,we 'll be blessed in our own lives and we will grow in our Christian walk.

7: Learn to love.

Icorithian13:3"And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

8: Learn to witness for the lord. You need to stop them

Act1:8"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

The greatest witness you can be to the world is to live a life  that's sold out to the lord.

What people want to see is what happen in your life.

What is your attitude towards your people?

Summary.

To grow spiritually, you must learn to forget,forgive ,to pray,to believe,to worship,to give ,love and to witness.
